Islamic Society Of Fargo Moorhead

About ISFM

Islamic Society Of Fargo Moorhead is a non-profit tax-exempt organization (with Tax-ID: 91-1844277) that has been formed exclusively for educational, religious, and social purposes. It is registered with the Internal Revenue Service under revenue code 501(c)(3).

All of its activities are in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and following the teachings and traditions of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be upon Him).

ISFM is a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-lingual, non-sectarian, diverse, and open community committed to full and equal participation and involvement of men and women who are community members of ISFM and subscribe to accept its rules, regulations, and procedures.

ISFM is committed to civic and civil engagement with communities of other faiths and society at large.

Our Mission

To serve the Muslim community by providing a welcoming space for worship, education, and spiritual growth. We strive to promote Islamic values, foster unity, and contribute positively to society while maintaining authentic Islamic teachings.

Our History

A journey of faith, growth, and community building

2010

Foundation

Started as a small prayer group meeting in a rented space with 20 founding members who shared a vision of establishing a proper Islamic center.

2013

First Mosque

Purchased our first building and established a permanent mosque. Began offering daily prayers and weekend Islamic school for children.

2016

Expansion

Expanded facilities to include a larger prayer hall, classrooms, and community center. Launched youth programs and counseling services.

2020

Digital Transformation

Adapted to challenges by launching online programs, virtual classes, and live-streamed prayers, reaching Muslims worldwide.

2024

Today

Serving over 5,000 community members with comprehensive programs, educational initiatives, and social services. Planning future expansion.
